Welcome to
Al Muntazir Boys Primary School Counseling Department

Our School Councelor is Mrs. Sakina Dharsee – Hasham

‘One of the most valuable things we can do to HEAL one another, is to listen to each other’s stories’ – Rebecca Falls

As your school counselor, I am here to listen, to offer support, and to help you be the best version of yourself! Don’t worry, any information you share with me is completely confidential.

So who am I?

I would describe myself as sociable, adventurous and optimistic. I joined the Al Muntazir family in January 2017. I have a Bachelors of Science in Behavioral Neurosciences from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada).

Aside from my academics, I have spent some time in various mentorship programs, volunteered in rehab centers for patients with mental illness, and assisted in classrooms for children with developmental disabilities. More recently, I worked in education and behavior observation. When I am not counseling, one would find me baking, spending time with family or practicing yoga.

I would say the thing I enjoy most about counseling is simply being there for someone, to listen to their stories and to remind them that they are not alone.

If you would like to get in touch regarding anything at all, please do not hesitate to fill out the contact form below.

I will be happy to help in whatever way I can!
