Personal Property

Children should not bring valuable items to school as we cannot take any responsibility for loss or damage. We do not encourage nursery and primary children to bring money to school. Any money, which a child needs to have in school, should be handed to the class teachers in the morning.

All property brought to school, including clothing, should be marked with the child’s name to assist in establishing ownership.

Jewellery of any kind can be a hazard to children at play and therefore should not be worn. Earrings are especially dangerous and children with pierced ears may only wear plain studs. This reduces the risk of accident or injury to the wearer and to other pupils.
